The installer as mentioned here is different but works well. Stability is what I look for in an OS. But my baseline is consistent whether a distro is brand-new or twelve years old. Also, this release was a first of a kind for Sabayon, so cut them some slack! Keep in mind that there is really only a very small team of core developers that worked on this, and CONTINUE to work on implementing options based totally on user feedback, as is always the case with Sabayon main, where I constantly see things being put in or taken out after a user asked to have some added functionality. The fact that Sabayon 3.4 is rock solid stable for all my machines yet the single most cutting edge OS on the market today (that im aware of) and 99% of that worked out of the box, is the best testament there could ever be to Fabio and his teams work.
